July 2019
Franciscan University Presents
The State, The Church, and Disabilities

As Catholics, how should we think about individuals with disabilities? How should we treat them? And how does that differ from the way our culture thinks about and treats these individuals? What are emerging threats to those who have disabilities?

Dr. Theresa Farnan, philosophy professor at St. Paul Seminary in Pittsburgh, will discuss these and other questions with Franciscan University Presents host Dr. Bob Rice, professor of theology and catechetics at Franciscan University, and panelists Dr. Scott Hahn and Dr. William Newton of Franciscan University’s Theology Department.
