Dr. John Cavadini, Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame, gives three examples to illuminate Catechism of the Catholic Church no. 89 which states, “There is an organic connection between our spiritual life and the doctrines” in his talk entitled “Lights Along the Path of Faith: Studying and Teaching Christian Doctrine as Spiritual and Pastoral Formation.” Dr. Cavadini’s talk was part of the Speaking the Truth in Love Conference, sponsored by the Catechetical Institute at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
