Guest:

Many surveys show declining sacramental practice in America today, especially among Millennials. How did we get here and what do we do now?

Dr. James Pauley, Professor of Theology and Catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville, presents an overview of liturgical catechesis in 21st century in order to bring light to some facets of this problem of declining sacramental practice and offers a possible remedy in his talk entitled “Today’s Declining Sacramental Practice: Catechetical Foundations for Recovery.” Dr. Pauley’s talk was part of the Faculty Research Colloquium at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
