Dr. Daniel R. Kempton, Professor of Political Science at Franciscan University of Steubenville, examines the strengths and weaknesses of both the war and criminal frameworks for dealing with terror in light of Just War Theory as outlined in the Catechism of the Catholic Church in his talk entitled “Conducting the Global War on Terror in Light of Catholic Teaching.” Dr. Kempton’s talk was part of the Catholic Church in World Affairs Conference at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
